The elderly

In remote Himalayan valleys, old people with no relatives are desperately in need of help from the outside world.
Lama Sönam knows most of them personally and supports their daily survival. One meal a day or a doctor’s visit are truly meaningful contributions.
Even a small financial donation can go a long way to relieve distress and suffering.

We are cooperating with Lama Phuntsok’s Project to guarantee that the money is properly used where it is needed most. Lama Phuntsok came originally from Manang too.

Through this cooperation we can also ensure a continuity of support.

In 2010 we contributed 1.500,00 EUR covering about half of the cost of meals for one year.
