Es ist ein glücklicher Tag für das Kloster Butshok Gompa in Manang!
Lange war nicht klar, wie das kürzlich von Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche geweihte Kloster und die Mönchsunterkünfte mit Leben gefüllt werden sollen. Der Unterhalt der monastischen Anlage obliegt der
Bevölkerung, die damit auch für die Verpflichtung von Mönchen, deren Unterkunft und Verpflegung, aber auch für die Instandhaltung der Gebäude verantwortlich ist.
Heute besuchten Lama Sönam Rabgye und Komiteemitglieder aus Manang den Sitz Seiner Eminenz Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche im Pullahari-Kloster in Kathmandu und baten einstimmig darum, die Aktivitäten
des Klosters unter dem Jamgon zu leiten. Die Verwaltung und der Generalsekretär von Jamgon Kongtrul sowie Khenpo Chokey nahmen die Anfrage an und es wurde beschlossen, künftig 10-15 Mönche nach
Manang entsenden, die das Kloster mit Leben füllen und den spirituellen Aufgaben nachkommen sollen.
Das wird wohl auch der Beginn eines neuen Projektes von Himalaya Karuna e.V. sein, denn unser Verein wurde gebeten, den Aufbau des monastischen Lebens finanziell zu unterstützten. Dazu gehören
Gelder für Lebensmittel, Kleidung und Material für Schulbildung (Tibetisch-/Englisch-Unterricht) und Studium für die Mönche, aber auch Lohnkosten für Angestellte, die z.B. für die Küche
verantwortlich sind.

It is a happy day for the Butshok Gompa monastery in Manang!
For a long time it was not clear how the monastery, recently consecrated by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, and the monks' accommodation would be filled with life. The upkeep of the monastic complex
is the responsibility of the local population, who are therefore also responsible for engaging monks, and looking after their accommodation and board, but also the maintenance of the buildings.
Today, Lama Sönam Rabgye and committee members from Manang visited the residence of His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche at Pullahari Monastery in Kathmandu and unanimously requested to
manage the activities of the monastery under the Jamgon. The administration and general secretary of Jamgon Kongtrul as well as Khenpo Chokey accepted the request and it was decided to send 10-15
monks to Manang in the future to fill the monastery with life and fulfill the spiritual tasks.
This will probably also be the start of a new project for Himalaya Karuna e.V., as our association has been asked to provide financial support for the development of monastic life. This
includes money for food, clothing and materials for school education (Tibetan/ English lessons) and studies for the monks, but also wage costs for employees who are responsible for the kitchen,
for example.
